1.1. Meet Over Coffee ApS, CVR No. 37775460, Copenhagen / Østergade 1, 2nd floor (“We”, “Us”, “Ours” or “MOC”) is a Danish registered limited company that has established the network platform meetovercoffee.net, inviting people to become users (“Members”) of the platform and make its professional profile available to automatically match other users of the network platform.
The platform facilitates continuous matching (“Matching”) of the member profiles, which through their membership disclose their personal data, interests, contributions, and wishes for matching. Members are allowed to read (“Member Profile”) about and chat (“Your Network Cafe”) with the profiles they are matched up with.
The service is available through the web portal meetovercoffee.net and/or anywhere else where MOC should decide to offer the service digitally or at events, lectures and other physical events.

2.1 The web portal uses cookies and related technologies to obtain and process information regarding users’ use of the portal and/or services and functions.

2.3 A cookie is a small data file that is transferred to your device (e.g. your phone, tablet or your computer) for record-keeping purposes. For example, a cookie could allow the web portal to recognize your browser, while another could store your preferences and other information.
2.4 The web portal also uses other technologies with similar functionality to cookies, such as web beacons and tracking URLs to obtain log data about users. We may also use web beacons and tracking URLs in our messages to you to determine whether you have opened a certain message or accessed a certain link.

2.6 There are two types of cookies used on the web portal, namely “persistent cookies” and “session cookies”. Session cookies will normally expire when you close your browser, while persistent cookies will remain on your device after you close your browser and can be used again the next time you access the web portal. The cookies placed by the web portal will expire at the latest 30 days after your last visit to the web portal if you do not delete them before such time.
The web portal uses a range of cookies
3.1 The web portal uses a range of cookies and related tracking technologies for several purposes. The use of cookies does not compromise your security by using the web portal.
Advertising technologies can share information between meetovercoffee.net and pages you previously visited to target content and ads that are presented to you on meetovercoffee.net and previously visited websites.
a. Cookies and pixels from following agencies is placed in your browser when you use meetovercoffee.net: Adform, Adservice, Adwords and Facebook.
b. Pixel tags (also called “clear GIFs”, “web beacons’ or ‘pixels’) are small pieces of code on a webpage or in an app that allows reading and placement of cookies and transfer of information to the MOC or our partners. The connection may contain information about ex. an IP address, time, location or type of device.
c. MOC uses Pixels to show you ads on Facebook or other webpages, depending on the offer or content you have seen on meetovercoffee.net. Advertisement systems used on MOC’s digital platforms is: DoubleClick, Google Adwords and Facebook.
- Third-party cookies (also known as tracking cookies); used by a third party that has elements embedded in meetovercoffee.net
- Google: Google Analytics and Google Webmaster Tools provides behavioral statistics and user trends, which is used to optimize and develop the web portal.
- Google: Google Adwords is used for target and retarget advertising on Google.
MOC uses ‘permanent cookie’ and ‘session cookie’, which respectively show whether the user is recurrent, logged in, in a flow between pages, sites, functions and/or services and how long the user has been on MOC’s digital platforms.
- Google Analytics is not running your IP address together with other information that Google Analytics holds.
- Google Analytics can provide the information to third parties if required by law or if third parties process the information on Google Analytics’ behalf.

We allow our business partners to place cookies
4.1 We may also allow our business partners to place cookies on your device. Our partners’ cookies are intended to obtain information to help them provide services to MOC. Cookies placed by our partners include the following:
a. Session cookies from Stripe, AWS, Zendesk, MailChimp and Mandrill enable, facilitate and streamline the functioning of the web portal and/or services and functions across different webpages, devices and browser sessions.
b. Session cookies from Stripe, AWS, Zendesk, MailChimp and Mandrill are used to simplify the access and use of the web portal and/or services and functions, making it more seamless.
c. Cookies from AWS, Stripe, Zendesk monitors and analyze the performance, operation and effectiveness of the web portal and/or services and functions, so we can improve and optimize our solution.
d. Cookies from Mailchimp used for automated mail distribution and targeted campaigns and relevant information to the user.
e. Cookies from Mandrill used to monitor, control and secure distribution of order acknowledgment and notification mails.
